#5 - "Practice Routines: How to win the war against stagnation and laziness"
In this episode of the podcast, I talk about how I spent my time on maternity leave with my daughter. I had a very strict schedule every day to avoid stagnation and laziness. It wasn't easy. I quit my job to fully dedicate myself to music. My wife went to work and I stayed home with my daughter on maternity leave.MY DAILY PLAN:(It didn't have to be followed exactly in order; I could exercise more, but not less.)* 1 hour - 60 bpm workout with the clock on the wall. After ten minutes rhythmic scales and long and short notes. Every ten minutes a change.* 1 hr - reading literature (autobiographies - Davis, Shostakovich, Tarkovsky, Bergman, ...) 1 hr - English* 2 hrs - working on emails and booking concerts, approaching filmmakers* 1 hour - analysis of guitar solos* 30 min. - string plucking* 2 hrs - watch a good film, analyse the music* 1 hour - free playing and improvisationREAD THE DIARY This is a public episode.
