jLove - producer remixer laying down a solid set of jackin beats

jLove fell for house music in 1993 while living in Southern Africa, sneaking out to clubs in Harare and Johannesburg. Shortly thereafter, he moved to the Bay Area to live with his father and things further cemented while attending the historic full moon parties on the beaches of Santa Cruz. As a teenager in the San Francisco Bay Area – the music of deejays such as Jeno, Garth, dj Dan, Mark Farina and many others helped shape his early appreciation for the culture. Years later, after years of dabbling in a bit of deejaying, a touch of production and a lot of partying, he released his first vinyl in 2006. The 12 inch caught the attention of a few producers, among them Roy Davis Jr. who reported that he’d need a new copy, as he had apparently steadily played the record all over the globe until the grooves wore out.
Taking the decision to become something of a nomad, he began to travel the globe, playing music at everything from dodgy loft parties in Canada to bars in Honolulu’s Chinatown, a spell in Croatia and a massive event on an Indian Ocean desert island. Now based in Europe, the adventure continues, with new music on the way, less party, more mixing – blending smooth vibes with upfront crowd rockers, looking for that perfect beat, hoping to put some hands in the air and get the girls shaking it out on the floor.
