Born into a food-loving family in New Zealand Amber Doig (The Butler) always knew she wanted to have a career in food. Realising the scope of opportunities across the ditch in Australia she headed to Sydney where she worked under some of the most influential chefs of that era, such as James Viles, and later Vanessa Martin.
