PREMIERE: MTRL - Javelin [IO]
The Munich-based IO Records welcomes back one of its co-founders Lukas Weinlein aka MTRL and his eight-track "Disrupt" EP. The EP features four originals and four remixes by long-time friends of the label, Epsilon, Kaf, Delusional Circuits, and fellow IO co-founder Dycide. "Javelin," our premiere for today, is all about the groove. The track executes the 'less is more' approach flawlessly. A rolling percussive sequence is the main driver of "Javelin." Accompanied by thumping kick and shaker, it creates a proper 'dancefloor pacer,' which will come in handy to many DJs during the late nights.
