PREMIERE: Rethe - Momentum Shift [Inner Tension]
Channeling a proper club night, our premiere for today arrives in the form of Polish producer, Rethe and his offering on Inner Tension’s forthcoming VA, Resonating Pulse. Helmed by a fellow countryman, Blazej Malinowskis’ personal imprint has featured a variety of familiar names, from Svreca to Oscar Mulero. With each release feeling impactful and tastefully done. Momentum Shift is a raucous affair, there’s no doubt about that. The groove is established immediately, the bass line snakes along as punchy kicks and shakers give a playful atmosphere. What’s missing… ah, the smoke and one or two hands in the air. Don’t get too secure though tempos change, and a well done break down lends the track a nice twist and identity.
