S14 Ep13: Sophie Wyburd the cook and recipe developer on landing her dream job, her life after Mob and her love of pies

Sophie is a cook and recipe developer. Her passion for food shines through and we love to hear that on Desert Island Dishes. We talk all thing sandwiches, whether it's worth going to cookery school, life in a restaurant and why pies are the greatest. After deciding to embark on a career in food while in her final year at university, she then trained at the world-famous Leith’s before working as a food stylist and as a chef at Quo Vadis. She made a name for herself in the world of food as Head of Food at Mob, the online food magazine. And has since gone on to host supper clubs, a podcast and having amassed a loyal army of followers, she took the leap to go freelance last year. Sophie says her food represents comfort first and foremost… Thank you to our sponsor Lloyds Bank for supporting us this season and helping us to bring the show to you every week.
