#23 | Heike Rapp | Driving brand and product design strategies

In this episode I have the chance to talk to Heike Rapp, former VP of Product Design at SAP in San Francisco and former Senior Director, Brand Strategy & Design at Autodesk. Heike shares her insights on designing enterprise solution and digital platforms at SAP that need to integrate various client, use case and environments but also how to integrate various software brands and digital legacy products in a holistic and synchronized brand and product experience at Autodesk. Furthermore, we also dive into design leadership: her experience largen the footprint, impact and responsibility of a design team within an organisation. In that context, we also learn her approach working with business and bringing design into the conversation of solving larger business problems and be involved in a companies strategy. In addition, we also touch on the intersection of brand and design and how to lead design strategy efforts dealing with different digital product brands and align interaction and interfaces but also evolve brands over time by design.
