EP 11: KÍLÈNTÁR - Making an Impact with Michelle Adepoju

Stumbling into Personal Branding Book - www.theentryplatform.com/shop This week we have Michelle Adepoju, a British-born Nigerian who is the founder of KÍLÈNTÁR. Michelle has a background in PR & marketing but after a year working in the industry in Nigeria and then consumer marketing in London, she needed something different. KÍLÈNTÁR was originally an idea to be a marketplace for African designers but Michelle didn’t have enough funds to create this and thought she’d create her own pieces instead. The reception she received was reassuring and so her brand was born. However, Michelle has had her challenges as she addresses difficulties with self-belief even pre-launch and how Covid financially impacted her business. We got to speak about leadership, why she decided to manufacturer her pieces in Nigeria and the impact that is having.  If you love this episode please leave a review, subscribe, and share it with somebody who’ll appreciate today’s message about self-belief and impact. -- To learn more about Michelle and KÍLÈNTÁR: Shop KÍLÈNTÁR - https://kilentar.com/ KÍLÈNTÁR's Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/kilentar Michelle's Instagram - https://instagram.com/michelleta_ -- Follow The Entry Platform for regular doses of fashion, mindset, and business gems on Instagram! @theentry_platform For day to day posts of my life and BTS of my brand, follow me on Instagram - @iamrebeccatembo Subscribe to my YouTube channel - Rebecca Tembo  Follow me on Twitter - @iamrebeccatembo
