EP 8: From Being Unemployed for 18 Months to Generating 6 Figures in 9 Months, International Manufacturing and Design Infringement Drama with Rokeya Khanums

I put up an IG story asking who you’d love to hear on the podcast and to no surprise, Rokeya Khanums, founder of Khanums, was probably the most requested. We recorded this episode a few weeks before the masterclass and it’s so amazing the relationship I’ve been able to grow with Rokeya in a short space of time. Khanum's is a fashion brand that specializes in embellished garments, most recently swimwear which launched in summer. Rokeya really opened up into everything about her life from being unemployed for 18 months, getting rejected every single day from jobs, having her son in her teen years, and how proud he is of her now. We discussed the obstacles she’s learned from delayed production to design infringement, what’s catapulted Khanum’s growth to the point she was able to build it up to a 6 figure company in 9 months whilst working full time. Get a notebook and pen out for this because serious gems were dropped!  Please leave a review, subscribe, and share with someone who needs to hear this.
