Marley Marl

Today's show features the oldest interview in the DTC collection which was recorded in 2015, but as this is the last episode of the season, we wanted to end with a special interview. The interview in this form has never been heard until now. Today’s guest is often cited as one of the originators of hip-hop as we know it today. Having developed drum sampling for the genre, his unique production style has become synonymous with classic hip hop. We hope you have enjoyed season 1 of DTC and we will be back in the autumn with season 2.Today's episode is supported by Scratch Pro Audio. As ever, Diggin' The Crates is brought to you by The Find, created by Vice beats and graphics by sicfilm.net#dtcpodcast Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
