In this episode, host Mike Flanagan welcomes Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the creators of Radio Silence, a collective of TV and film creatives who blend horror with comedy in a way that is entirely their own. From their early days as scrappy DIY filmmakers to helming some of the most iconic franchises in horror, they are also unique for their loyalty and partnership. What began with the popular online comedy channel ‘Chad, Matt and Rob’ evolved into a moniker that branded such work as the beloved VHS anthology series, Devils Do, Southbound, Ready or Not, and 2022’s revitalization of the Scream franchise. Their most recent film is this year’s vampire movie, Abigail. They are well known by the name they chose to represent their filmmaking collective: Radio Silence.
