Why Christians Don’t Need to Fear

Fear is real, but for a follower of Jesus, it has no power. In this episode, we look at what Scripture says about fear, how the empty tomb gives us unshakable confidence, and how we respond through prayer, obedience, and fixing our eyes on Christ. If the tomb is empty, we have no reason to fear. Watch video version on YT: https://www.youtube.com/@TheDiscipleMindset Follow on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedisciplemindset/

Our world is consumed with mindsets: growth, hustle, productivity, even spiritual mindsets. Different labels and packaging, but beneath them is often the same idea: make life about you. Build your image. Improve yourself for yourself. Chase your dreams. Become the hero of your own story. The gospel tells a different story. We are not heroes. We are not co-creators with the universe. We are sinners, dead in our sin, in need of a Savior. That savior is Jesus. Jesus said in Luke 9:23, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” The mindset of a disciple is shaped by the cross, surrendered to Jesus, focused on the Great Commission, and lived for the glory of God. Growth, discipline, and productivity are not idols of self-glory but surrendered tools to advance God’s Kingdom. That is why I created Disciple Mindset: to urge you to take sin seriously, take the gospel seriously, and embrace your calling to make disciples who make disciples.
