Funky house favourites from early ’03. Produced for my bestest buddy, Selina, on her 30th birthday. There’s something about Sel that makes me want to pull out all the stops for her. This time I had to pull out the decks - Matt & I had just moved house and the building work we had done meant it was too dusty for playing vinyl. I set up my decks on the floor in the hallway and pulled out some girly tunes I thought she’d like. Her birthday was a great night clubbing in Brixton. We returned to her & Matty F’s flat (I seem to remember seven of us paying a dodgy cab double fare to squeeze us in??) and danced round their living room to this mix.
