How Miro Heiskanen Can END Series Against Avalanche | DLLS Stars Podcast

The Dallas Stars have been without the services of Miro Heiskanen, their number defenseman, since January 28th, when he suffered a serious knee injury on a collision with Vegas Golden Knights forward Mark Stone in a game at T-Mobile Arena. Heiskanen underwent a surgery to repair the injury and has been quietly rehabbing his way back to health. As Stars began their first round playoff series with the Colorado Avalanche, it felt like Heiskanen’s recovery timeline was too far off for him to be considered until at least the second round, if not later. However, in the last week he has been taking noticeable steps towards a return to action, including making the trip to Denver with the team for Games 3 and 4. While he didn’t play in Game 3 on Wednesday night, the chances of Heiskanen suiting up against the Avs at some point seem more and more possible. Which begs the question for our DLLS Stars Podcast crew of Craig Ludwig, Owen Newkirk & Sam Nestler: would Miro Heiskanen’s return to action be extra tipping point for the Stars to sink the Avalanche?
