17-year-old Salvadoran-American poet, Favio Lovos, talks about his experience and how his past works reflect the socio-political awakening he experienced within his community as he was leaving middle school into high school.Favio transformed his life of adversity into rhythmical schemes that induced him into canvassing the beauty of his life with words to combat its obstacles rather than violence. He has also been a part of various open-mics across Los Angeles.
