100: Caroline Flint | The Importance Of Natural Home Births

Caroline Flint is a midwife, birth activist, author and founder of The Birth Centre. Her defining moment came at 8 years old with the birth of her sister at home which sparked a lifelong commitment to providing women with empowering, life-changing births.In 1989 she opened The Birth Centre which specialised in one on one midwifery care, with dark, peaceful birthing rooms and a midwifery team who treated birth as a positive, normal, physiological process.Caroline has been at the forefront of all changes affecting women in childbirth.
