Performing, perfectionism, and falling flat on your face. Danielle x Carey Anderson

Meet Carey Anderson, a former Broadway performer turned therapist. Carey and I sit down to talk about what it looks like to put yourself out there and get rejected - over and over and over again. What we both learned from our time in the performing arts, and what led to making the career leap to psychotherapy.  What I love about this episode is how well it demonstrates that though the details of our life are so diverse, the things we want out of life are the same. We want our life to have meaning, we want to be of value to others, we want to know we matter. Carey and I explore how we help our clients in these areas, and how we navigate them ourselves.
