In this episode, we will discuss how Game Masters of TTRPGs will have to say No to Player Ideas and Suggestions. We give advice and insight on how you can identify those situations when they arise and what you can do to work with your players to achieve an outcome favored by all. We also talk about what a Game Master actually does for the table and why it is on you to shut down certain ideas. We talk about the ways we use to prevent moments of disruption and our experience with shutting down ideas.
