How do you deal with Murderhobos in D&D?

Murderhobos are a specific subset of players everyone has heard about in TTRPGs. They murder everything, violence is the solution to all the problems and they just don't learn from the consequences. But how do we deal with them? Should we just kick them from the table? Should we show them new ways? That's what we discuss in today's episode! We talk abut much more than just murderhobos in D&D and TTRPG but more generally playstyle differences and how to communicate across different playstyles to create an amazing and engaging table experience for all at the table. We talk about ways to prevent murder hoboing from ever happening and also how to steer a group away from violence in systems that are geared towards a lot of violence (like D&D). We talk about handling out-of-game problems out of the game and in-game problems in the game and not mixing the two to solve problems where there aren't any.Our Midroll Music is "Midnight Tale" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 Licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Our Outro Music is "Ascending the Vale" Kevin MacLeod (imcompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 Licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/You can find us on the Web under these Links:https://www.doubledm.com/https://twitter.com/DoubleDMpodhttps://www.instagram.com/doubledmpod/?hl=dehttps://ko-fi.com/doubledmIf you want to reach out to us via E-Mail use: doubledmpod@gmail.com Hosted on Acast.
