Somatic work is important because it helps us to understand our bodies and experiences. It helps us to feel more in control of who we are and the life that we want to lead. It allows us to connect with our bodies on a deeper level, which can help us deal with physical, mental, and emotional pain.  Somatic practices help us to create a more calm, clear space for ourselves. They can help us to cultivate mindfulness and mindfulness is the key to making peace with our inner challenges and challenges in life.  In addition, somatic work is an important part of any practitioner's toolkit.
