Lighting the Silent Path with McKinnon Galloway

Bob stumbled upon McKinnon Galloway through social media, where she teaches basic sign language. As a teenager, she was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2), a rare and incurable genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, leading to her deafness. McKinnon has a beautiful ambition of bridging the gap between the hearing and deaf communities, which led her to start the Deaf District—a community where deaf or hard of hearing individuals can find resources, support, and a sense of belonging. Join us for an inspiring conversation about the challenges she has faced, the importance of surrounding oneself with supportive people, and the power of words. Om Podcasten

Most people never give themselves permission or know how to chase their big ambitions. Our framework helps you discover, declare, and realize yours so you can have a fulfilling life and impact the world for good.  If you've noticed we haven't been posting an episode every week here, that's because we just launched a new podcast called the Writing Room with my friend, Kimberly Stuart. Check it out here. We'll be alternating each week!
