146: Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, & Robyn Crawford (Part 5)

This week, Troy continues our Whitney Houston/Bobby Brown journey with a look at what was happening in their lives from 1997-1999. Troy starts start by revisiting Whitney’s production company, BrownHouse Productions, and discuss the iconic Cinderella remake staring Brandy as the world’s first black Disney Princess. From there, he dives into the critically acclaimed “My Love is Your Love” era of Whitney’s discography and her finally being given the opportunity to release an album that she has complete creative control over. He also discusses Bobby’s short lived return to New Edition and the tour he very quickly was kicked off of (shocker).  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
