These landscapeshold cultural, spiritual, and historical importance to Indigenous peoples and offer valuableinsights into past societies and their interactions with the environment. Glenn Kreisberg is an author, outdoor guide, and radio engineer, who researchesarchaeoastronomy and landscape archaeology in the Hudson Valley and Catskill Mountains ofNew York.
