Episode 144: Long Live The Arts

Happy Friday! Today's guest is the amazing Dr. Dermell Brunson. Dr. Brunson is a leader at the intersection of mental health, youth empowerment, and arts education. With over 20 years of experience in mental health and foster care systems, Dr. Brunson has dedicated his career to providing support, healing, and leadership development for underserved youth. Through his nonprofit, Leaders Of Tomorrow Youth Center (LYTC),  he integrates the arts as a tool for mental wellness, social-emotional learning, and community impact. We had such a good conversation around the arts and the beautiful life lessons experienced through them. Dr. Brunson is doing the world a big service by advocating for the access to arts in underserved communities. I loved him and I know you will, too! Here's a link for LYTC. Enjoy!
