Hailing from Philadelphia, New Wave of Traditional American Heavy Metal band Corners of Sanctuary (COS) formed in 2011 with a desire to bring back the sounds of Classic Heavy Metal. Corners of Sanctuary has performed across the US, in Europe and the UK with many notable artists including: Saxon, Anvil, Stryper, U.D.O., Tantric, Joey Belladonna (Anthrax), Black Lodge, Marc Rizzo of Soulfly, Green Jello, Act of Defiance, Britny Fox, Janet Gardner (Vixen), the Iron Maidens and Damon Johnson among others. Hailing after the announcement of their 7th album, "Heroes Never Die", released on October 30th, 2020, the Philadelphian warriors, Corners of Sanctuary, unleashed their first single, "We Never", providing a mere glimpse of things to come. "We Would Never Surrender, Never Give In, Never Back Down", the lyrics scream a call for fire, of resistance, of defiance, a pursuit for a better way of life. Yet, for every purpose as this, one has to struggle, fight hard, put down an effort to reach goals that aren't necessarily a walk in the park.
