Social media whilst created to bring us together, has had an almost opposing effect, by reinforcing views and dividing society, taking us away from the need to compromise and work together. The fantastic documentary on Netflix called The Social Dilemma, caused a discussion between Amrit and his daughter, exploring the impact of social media. What good does having an organisational Diversity and Inclusion agenda have, when outside of work, we are exposed to division? This is what this week's podcast explores, and raises the question of whether organisations could be a force for good, to help educate wider society on the positive impacts of diversity and inclusion.
