23. 6 Must Read PD Books to Teach ELLs

What are your favorite things to do during the summer? I try not to do a lot during the summer, but I do love finding good books to read by the pool. While not all the books I read are related to teaching, I enjoy reading a couple of PD books each summer that spark ideas, give me inspiration, and renew my love for teaching. In today’s episode, I’m sharing my top 6 books that I believe will help you build a foundation in supporting your English Language Learners or will challenge traditional views of teaching. These books have been so valuable to me and have really helped me support my students and grow professionally. I’m always searching for more books to read, so if you have a book that I didn’t share today, I would love to hear about it. https://www.instagram.com/inspiringyounglearners/ (Put it in the comments or send me a message on Instagram) to share your suggestions. If you’re looking for more professional development support this summer, make sure to check out my course, https://www.equippingells.com/offers/raJF4dWJ (ELL Strategy Academy). We go through 5 different modules, and you get access to all of them at once so you can go through them at your own pace. I’d love to see you there! https://www.equippingells.com/ell-sales-page (Join the Equipping ELLs Membership) To access all resources mentioned in this episode, head to the show notes: https://www.inspiringyounglearners.com/pd-books-to-teach-ells/ (https://www.inspiringyounglearners.com/pd-books-to-teach-ells/) --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/equippingells/message
