Jan Johansen represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 1995 in Dublin's Point Theatre, coming third with the song "Se på mig" with a total of 100 points. Jan attempted to represent Sweden again by entering Melodifestivalen again in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2020. In the 2003 he teamed up with Pernilla Wahlgreen on "Let your spirit fly" and come second to Fame who went on to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 in Riga, Latvia.
