How to Balance Ultrarunning and Life with Rachel Drake

Life can be super busy as ultrarunners. With tons of priorities like work, family, and significant others; it can seem like we are tight on time and the training and racing may be tough to get in. For Rachel Drake, it is something that she takes on every day. Not only is she an incredible runner who recently placed top 10 at Western States 100 and won the Black Canyon 100K earlier this year; but she is also a mother, a wife, and full-time professional in the medical field. And she has taken on life in a way where running and life both ebb and flow together in ways where she's able to show up for the important things fully. In this episode, Rachel shares how she's able to balance life and running, epic stories from her time at the Western States 100, and how she's able to stay calm and not panic when things go wrong.
