Neurodivergence Skills for Autism and ADHD with Jennifer Kemp, MPsych

Jennifer Kemp, MPsych, coauthor of The Neurodivergence Skills Workbook for Autism and ADHD, joins us to discuss how neurodivergent people can live authentically, take pride in their identity, and increase overall well-being. Kemp is a clinical psychologist in private practice based in Adelaide, South Australia, who works with neurodivergent adults experiencing perfectionism, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and chronic illness. Using a neurodiversity-affirming approach, Kemp weaves together acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and behavioral and compassion-focused approaches with her own lived experience as a late-diagnosed Autistic ADHDer to help her clients improve their mental health and develop greater self-compassion, self-acceptance, and pride in their neurodivergent identity. Kemp juggles clinical practice with writing, presenting, and clinical supervision. She is author of The ACT Workbook for Perfectionism.    Visit our website at www.newharbinger.com and use coupon code 'Podcast25' to receive 25% off your entire order.  Buy the Book:  New Harbinger - https://bit.ly/3ZEIV4b  Amazon - https://a.co/d/4m0nVfT  Barnes & Noble - https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/1143918853   Bookshop.org - https://bit.ly/3ZFDhPq  If you have ideas for future episodes, thoughts, or questions, we’d love to hear from you!
