Finally we have had oppurtunity to visit my inspiring beekeeping friend and mentor Christoph Franck to learn more about honey bees and beekeeping! There are so much more to these small buggers than just honey, they are essential pollinators and so important for our wellbeing and the delicate balance in nature.
In this first part of our three part series about bees we first talk about some of the basics about beekeeping and bees in Christoph Francks beautiful garden.
In the next episode, out on Monday, we learn about the many things you can make use of from the bees including Christophs honeycomb art! In third part, out the week after that, I have a conversation with Christoph Franck about urban beekeeping!
