Today's Extraordinary Women Radio guest is Dr. Nicole Gruel, an author of The Power of NOTEs: Non-Ordinary Transcendent Experiences Transforming the Way We Live, Love, and Lead. Nicole is an author, a speaker, and a transformational coach who descends from a long line of samurai. How cool is that!
I loved Nicole from the moment I met her several years ago, shortly after I had read her book Women of the Wise Earth. Nicole was one of the first women I reached out to blindly on the internet saying, “I’d just like to know you more.”
We Skyped and it was the beginning of a dear friendship.
In that call I shared my own poem that had been inspired by her book - Circle of Sisters. And I shared a seed of an idea that came to me in writing that poem. What if... we took the principles of her book Women of the Wise Earth – women connecting in circle, in nature, in ritual – grounded in the chakras – and created a global movement. And we both said yes.
Together, we wrangled up women from around to world to join us in a series of circles over a 7 month period over multiple continents. I wrote about it in my blog "Walking a Life of Empowerment and Possibilities."
After we hosted each circle, all the women from around the world would share whatever came from those circles – photos, poems, writings, artistic creations. It was so much fun and the energy that we all created together was magical.
It was one of my favorite projects of all times. So it is with great honor that I get to feature Nicole today, and her newest book, The Power of NOTEs: Non-Ordinary Transcendent Experiences Transforming the Way We Live, Love, and Lead.
Nicole has spent over two decades actively exploring human potential. A near-death experience and sudden loss of several family members as a teenager initiated her journey into the non-ordinary realms and into seeing how ordinary people deal with extraordinary experiences. She’s made it her life mission to help other experiencers navigate their NOTEs so they can make the most of these exceptional events, live their most desired life, and share their gifts with the world.
Her books have been featured in leading Australian wellness magazines and inspired people around the world to dive deep and take soulful action. She combines her experience in teaching, international development, healing arts, counselling, Eastern philosophy, depth and transpersonal psychology, sacred ceremony, and creative expression to inspire grounded personal transformation and intentional collective action.
