75 My Old Default Setting Is Emotional Avoidance - Give Me All The Food!

I love when people think I am so different than them in that I do not struggle or that I am ‘fixed’ of everything. That could not be further from the truth. The difference is that I know that its a daily practice to stay chasing my best self. After having a meltdown in my car last week, I wanted to either go shopping, or go for some food. Junk food. I felt old patterns wanting to creep up. While I was not facing a life-threatening challenge at the time, the pain/problem was all relative. I came home and went through several practices so that I would not head for the candy. Things that you can do that I talk about in this episode: Anchor - take the time to change your state and vision. Write a list of all the good things - what you focus on, expands. Stay Present - take it one day at a time. We can all win ONE DAY. Audible commands - there is POWER in your words to yourself. Do not live in regret - coulda, shoulda, woulda is not a place you should go.
