Joe Satriani (2022)

Joe Satriani is an American guitarist, composer and songwriter who with his masterful instrumental rock music has sold over 10 million albums throughout his career. He has taught some of the most well-known guitarists around, including Steve Vai and Metallica's Kirk Hammett, and founded the G3 Tour in 1995 in which he also toured with a slew of guitar virtuosos. Satriani recently released his latest album 'The Elephants of Mars', and we spoke with him about the album, a time when he was still a beginner, finding workarounds on the guitar, Eddie van Halen, a song inspired by Questlove, songs that keep evolving, and a lot more! Interview by: Robin HignellSupport the showThank you for listening!
