#284 - How do you deliver an aircraft in a week?

Alan Hohn, Director, External Outreach and Software Strategy has been a leader at Lockheed Martin for the past 25 years delivering mission-critical software that serves pilots, sailors and department of defense. Testing incremental complex parameters like air quality, site reliability, other special hardware and software functions to analyze ahead of time what could fail requires continuous tests. In the span of 25 years he has seen and been part of the transformations from waterfall process to agile methodology improving performance systems with prototyping using virtualization and simulation solutions. He shares that designing an aircraft is once in a career opportunity and repeating a successful design of an aircraft has gone through a massive transformation at Lockheed.
