#305 - Importance of Human Centric Design in Healthcare
Amy West is the Head of US Digital Transformation & Innovation at Novo Nordisk. Her work in the direct response engagements gave her a great skill set for rapid testing and iterating based on what resonated with their customer segments and what failed. She launched the Novo-Nordisk Care Platform and the Army channel platform among other applications and brings a unique vision to the Healthcare innovation space. Her approach is that at one point in time we are all patients, are we served in a way that is relevant and appropriate for us? Good design is a fine intersection of tech, digital and data and if we can design healthcare experiences that give the decisions in patients hands, to be in control of the outcomes they desire which are aligned with the care providers, healthcare might become easier.
