Ep.3 Going To Social Events By Yourself

In a world that often celebrates the power of the group, going to social events by yourself can feel like an intimidating thing to do. However, venturing out solo can be an incredibly rewarding experience, allowing you to step outside your comfort zone, and expand your social circle, and on top of all of that, I think it’s a healthy challenge! This past weekend I did exactly that. Since I moved to NYC, I haven’t really found my photography community, and to be honest, I’ve never actually had a photography friend group anywhere I lived in my life but I’m ready to change that. In this episode, I get into the art of navigating social events as a solo attendee. We'll explore strategies for overcoming self-consciousness, striking up conversations, and making the most of your experience. Whether you're an introvert, a busy professional, or simply someone looking to shake things up. As I share my experience from this weekend, I hope that this episode will help you get some confidence to embrace the art of flying solo.
