Intersectionality: Supporting the Growth of ALL Women
Intersectionality is one of the most important values in my life, it’s linked to my reverence for justice and equity, and the need to feel that I have the same opportunity as anyone in the status quo to create a life of my own design, without societal barriers getting in the way. To create opportunities for women of all colors to link arms is a key value of Femmefluence. In this episode, I share the facts of how racial and gender discrimination for women of color is a major problem THAT WE CAN CHANGE and why it is so important that women as a whole work together to create equality for all women. This is an emotionally charged, possibly uncomfortable conversation. But that tension to take part of the conversation regardless of that fact is the work required for us to build longer tables together and to create affluence and influence at a level the world has never experienced before.
