We have a magical relationships with dogs and they are considered by many to be a part of the family. Over 1,000’s of years of domestication dogs evolved and developed the ability to express emotion through their eyes through a special muscle around their eyes (LAOM muscle, abbreviation). This muscle allows dogs to express sadness, guilt and joy!
