24. A Guide To: Identifying Limiting Beliefs, Breaking Patterns, & Creating a New Self Concept

This episode serves as a guide to understanding your limiting beliefs, shattering those illusions, and how to identify and live in alignment with what you want and who you want to be. Last week, we covered letting go of the past. Now, we forge a new future. This requires one thing - an overlapping element from last week's episode and an underpinning of Figuring Sh!t Out: Honesty with the self. In order to deepen our relationship with ourselves and honor who we really are, we must face ourselves. No more hiding. No more living in victimhood. No more shaming ourselves. This could be seen as a manifestation technique - but underneath all manifestation is shadow-work - we cannot magnetize what we do not believe we deserve. And we tell ourselves what we deserve - through our actions, through the way we live our lives, spend our time, and talk to ourselves. Are you living in alignment with who you want to be? Do you find harmony sometimes, and fall off others? How can you make the commitment and stick to it? In this episode, you're walked through a step by step process on how to understand how your behaviors and actions tell the external world and yourself what you believe yourself to be worthy of - and how to step fully into your highest ideal of self by understanding our psychology & identification with the ego-self. It covers: - Making the unconscious conscious and using it to our advantage, a Carl Jung philosophy - A reading from "Atomic Habits" by James Clear on changing your identity to change your behaviors (Revising our Self-Concept) - How to unearth your individual identity & self-concept through thoughts of your inner child + current joys in life - How to positively fuel your self-concept and "ego"-based identity, while still holding a notion of surrender & spiritual groundedness in your life - Dissecting the role our ego plays in personal development, knowing when we're in harmony with ourselves - Shining a light on the importance of recognizing when you're in alignment with your ideal self and when fear or guilt is creating dissonance - Staying present and finding joy in our journey - sharing some notes of my own experience with this technique & what I'm finding along the way IF YOU LIKED THIS EPISODE, PLS LEAVE A REVIEW & TELL ME YOUR THOUGHTS!
