Ep 80: "It's an industry that you keep on learning about" AWARD-WINNING ACTRESS & PRODUCER Oriane Pick
An Award-winning French actress, Oriane Pick lived in a variety of countries across Asia, Africa and Europe before moving to London in 2013. Since then she has appeared in numerous short films, web series and commercials.
2019 saw the release of the multi-award nominated short film 'Say Your Name'. Now available on Amazon Prime, Oriane plays the tormented lead for which she received two Best Actress nominations.
In 2020 Oriane co-founded Candid Broads Productions, which aims to produce entertaining female-led stories. Her first production under the new company was the award-winning web series "Call It a Day". Serving as Showrunner and lead in the series, it has so far garnered over 20,000 views and won Oriane the Grand Jury Actress Award from Oniros Film Awards 2020.
Oriane is due to star in the next Candid Broads production, 'I AM'. The short film that seeks to bring a new perspective on mental illness and break stigmas that still surround schizophrenia is currently in pre-production.
