#292 Know your (Markers Of) Metabolic Health.
Do you know the markers of metabolic health? Clinically speaking, metabolic health is defined by optimal levels of five markers: waist circumference, blood sugar levels, triglycerides, cholesterol, and blood pressure - where medication is not present. 1 in 3 adults have metabolic syndrome - some researchers would say the number is actually higher - maybe 1 in 2. Regardless, you should know your body and where you fall in the metabolic health scale.
