Featured interview: Economist Jason Furman

It's decision day once again for the Federal Reserve as it weighs its next move on interest rates amid a banking crisis and stubborn inflation. Do they go bold like the European Central Bank (.5% hike) or choose a more modest .25% hike? There's also the camp calling for policymakers to take a time out. Joining Julia to discuss is Jason Furman, former Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers who's currently a professor of economics at Harvard.  Also on today's show: Ayisha Siddiqa, a member of the UN Secretary General's Youth Advisory Group and cofounder of Polluters Out. The 24-year-old recently appeared on the cover of Time as one of the magazine's Women of the Year.  To learn more about how CNN protects listener privacy, visit cnn.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices.
