Featured interview: Lanzajet CEO Jimmy Samartzis

More than 3.8 billion passengers flew around the world last year, and those planes generated 2% of the world's carbon emissions powered by fossil fuels. The industry is clearly looking at ways to address this with things like electric and hydrogen power jets. But what if we could simply use cleaner fuel? Well, Lanzajet is producing just that. It's called sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The fuel can be used by regular aircraft and can use existing refueling systems without modification. Joining Julia to discuss is Lanzajet CEO Jimmy Samartzis.  Also on today's show: Kristina Hooper, Chief Global Market Strategist at Invesco.  To learn more about how CNN protects listener privacy, visit cnn.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices.
