Fitz on Fantasy: Late-Round Gem (guest: JJ Zachariason)

We’re neck deep in fantasy football draft season (@Fitz_FF), so it’s a great time for host Pat Fitzmaurice (@Fitz_FF) to catch up with ace analyst JJ Zachariason of Late-Round Fantasy Football (@LateRoundQB). JJ talks about his origins as the late-round QB guy and how fantasy managers’ approach to the QB position has evolved over time. He also lays out his own approach at the position and lists a few of his favorite targets. JJ and Pat discuss preseason RB risers Dameon Pierce and Isiah Pacheco, and how to navigate the so-called “RB dead zone” in Rounds 3-6. Why did JJ remove Gabriel Davis from his “WRs to target list” in his draft guide? He answers that question and also explains the appeal of Elijah Moore, Drake London, and Rondale Moore. JJ and Pat also discuss rookie WRs Chris Olave and Treylon Burks. JJ lists a few of his favorite board games and reveals how football-related sleep deprivation led to the East Coast Dads line of merchandise, with profits going to No Kid Hungry. A native Pittsburgher, JJ offers a few takes on the Steeler's offense. He and Pat also talk about the Brian Robinson/Antonio Gibson situation in Washington -- prayers up for Robinson -- and JJ lists a few of his easiest fades and most frequently rostered players.
