Dathaí Keane is a TV and film director. He began his career as an editor before moving into directing and has directed a number of award-winning documentaries. His first drama series, An Klondike, a four-part bilingual Western (Was distributed internationally as Dominion Creek on Netflix). An Klondike was also released in a theatrical version and was selected as the Closing Film of the Galway Film Fleadh in 2015. This year his latest Film "Finky" debuted at this years film Fleadh. An offbeat, mysterious, fantasy drama, Finky is a celebration of life, love, and death, and the transformative power of art. A musician and puppeteer seeking to escape his past steals an envelope full of cash and escapes to Scotland with his childhood friend Tom to start a new life. On their first night in Glasgow, Finky has an accident and is left paralysed from the waist down. He hits rock bottom, but is given a chance at redemption when he is recruited by Carnival Chaotica, an avant-garde circus troupe.
