Keshava Swami: When We Serve Others, Our Life Gets Ironed Out In The Process

Welcome to this episode of the For Souls Sake where I am beyond thrilled to be joined by my mentor, guide, and dear friend, HH Svayam Bhagavan Keshav Swami. Keshava Swami has spent over 20 years as a resident monk at ISKCON UK's Headquarters, Bhaktivedanta Manor, and authored ten books on Vedic theology, lifestyle management, and spiritual self-development. Keshava Swami completed a BSc in Information Management at University College London. After graduation, he adopted full-time monastic life in 2002 and has since travelled the world sharing his teachings with universities, corporate firms, government organizations, and spiritual communities  In our conversation, he emphasizes the importance of selflessness and service, encouraging us to shift our focus from our own desires to helping others. he also discusses the concept of the soul and how it relates to the physical and mental selves. We focus on the difficulty of accessing the soul in this day and age, due to the overwhelming chaos of the world. Keshava Swami uses teaching from the Bhagavad Gita and talks about the three modes of nature: goodness, passion and ignorance. Keshava Swami suggests that to truly access the soul, one must create a lifestyle which consists of disconnecting from the chaos of the world and cultivating a space that allows one to connect with the spiritual self. I am grateful for the opportunity to share this conversation with you all and to have Keshava Swami on For Souls Sake. So, join me in this enlightening conversation with and discover the transformative power of selflessness and spiritual connection.
