Michael James Wong: Be You, Everyone Else Is Already Taken & Convincing People To Take Up A Practice

To day for our souls sake, I sit down with Michael James Wong, a world renowned speaker, yoga teacher and mindfulness practitioner committed to expanding the conversation around the mind and mental health. He is especially known for creations such as of Just Breathe - an app which shares daily practices, guided meditations, artist collaborations and more. If that's not enough, he is an author of two wonderful books, a spoken word artist, a host of the podcasts 'The Quiet Life' and 'Childs Pose'. He is committed to sharing his wisdom far and wide through the founding of Krama Yoga School and Sunday School Yoga, which focusses on levelling up yoga teachers from a diverse background providing them with practical tips, guidance and mentoring in yoga practices. Having performed at iconic venues such as the British Museum, Parliaments and TedX events across the world, Michael continues to make strides within the community and I am extremely honoured and grateful to have him here with me, not only as a dear friend, but to also talk all things mindfulness!Michael shares the honest truth about how Yoga has helped him overcome the biggest struggles in his life and what drives him to help others through the same process also. We candidly open about the hesitations many men have around practicing yoga due to it's apparent feminine connotations and uncover what true authentic yoga really is. We both share on how spirituality is a very unique healing journey that people will open up to in a variety of ways and at different times in their life and is something that can not be forced.   Want to connect further?Instagram: www.instagram.com/radhika_dasa/Facebook: www.facebook.com/radhikadasmusicYouTube: www.youtube.com/c/RadhikaDasWebsite: www.radhikadas.comPatreon: www.patreon.com/radhikadasLinktree: linktr.ee/radhika_dasa
