Nottingham Forest put in a poor performance as they lost 4-2 to Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday as they failed to build on their win against West Ham United last time out. The Reds went into the game without Ibrahim Sangare, Ola Aina and Willy Boly after they all returned from AFCON with injuries. Nuno Tavares was also ruled out with injury as Moussa Niakhate started the game at left-back and struggled, as many did. Goals from Ollie Watkins, Douglas Luiz (2) and Leon Bailey saw Forest well beaten even though they got it back to 3-2 with goals from Niakhate and Morgan Gibbs-White.
