Ep. 014 - Literature series - G.K. Chesterton's Modern Surrender of Women (1909)

In this episode, we begin our new Literature Series, where we'll bring you audio recordings of literature exploring the toxicity of feminism and the beauty of true femininity! Today's recording is of one of our favorite authors, G.K. Chesterton, a prolific author & essayist of the early 20th century. In his "Modern Surrender of Women", he discusses not why women should have the legal right to vote, but why we shouldn't even *want* to vote, and because we do it is the triumph of masculinism. He argues that women have far superior roles than to argue politics and join the mob rule, because we actually have the most important vocations in society: to raise children. He goes on to say that women could easily be Her Imperial Majesty and be a wonderful mother to her children, but it is against our characters and natures to use coercion by voting. This is a fascinating article, and we hope you enjoy it!
